Medical care for our pets can be complicated and emotionally complex. Understanding and making decisions about their care knowing you have all the information can ease that burden.

My Background

I have been in the medical field for over 20 years with a Master’s Degree in Cellular Therapy helping evolve cancer treatments, but I really found my calling when I joined Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue in North Carolina. After fostering dogs for several years, I joined the operations team serving as the Medical Coordinator. I am the direct contact for our veterinarians but making the time to explain, discuss and brainstorm medical issues with fosters, fellow rescuers and adopters has become my passion. It gives me great joy to be able to share my knowledge and empower people to make the best decisions for their pets.

I have a passion for helping pet owners navigate and communicate with their veterinarians to ensure the best possible care.
